Description
Swati completed her MD Anaesthesia in India in 2001. Following this she did 3 years of senior residency in Cardio-thoracic and Neuro-anaesthesia in Delhi. In 2008, she migrated to Adelaide and enrolled as a Registrar in South Australia and Northern Territory under the rotational training scheme of ANZCA. She was awarded ANZCA Fellowship in 2014 and finished her training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
Between 2015 to 2017 she was an Anaesthesia Consultant at the Mildura Base Hospital in Victoria.
Since 2017 Swati has been an Anaesthesia Consultant at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, South Australia. She joined Wakefield Anaesthetic Group in June 2019, effectively balancing both private and public service.
She has a diverse practice that includes anaesthesia for orthopaedic surgery, ENT, obstetrics, gynaecology, eye surgery, procedural sedation, difficult airway management.
Swati is actively involved in simulation-based education and executing scenarios.
